This project in downtown Anderson involved the development of a state-of-the-art, multi-modal transit hub designed to enhance community connectivity and urban mobility. The one-story north block of the facility functions as the official City of Anderson Transit Station, serving as a vital transportation hub for the region. The adjoining three-story southern section provides leasable tenant space, contributing to downtown revitalization and mixed-use development. As a new community amenity, the building was constructed to high sustainability standards and is proudly LEED Gold Certified. The project features a geothermal-sourced heat pump system to meet all HVAC needs efficiently and sustainably, along with an integrated solar PV array to reduce energy consumption and carbon footprint. This forward-thinking transit center exemplifies our commitment to green building practices, renewable energy, and long-term urban planning.
