This project involves the design and construction of a new water treatment plant, known as the Prospect Lake Clean Water Center (PLCWC), located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The facility is being delivered through an Engineer-Procure-Construct-Commission (EPCC) model and will be capable of producing finished water at a maximum instantaneous rate of approximately 50 million gallons per day (MGD).
As part of the project, two ADA-accessible pre-engineered metal buildings will be supplied and installed: a 9,968 SF Administration, Control, and Warehouse Building, and a 15,189 SF Nano Filtration Building.
The scope also includes the installation of concrete and precast components, as well as complete plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems.
The Administration, Control, and Warehouse Building will include concrete foundations and a floor slab, a pre-engineered metal building structure, and exterior insulated precast concrete panels. The building will feature insulated walls, hollow metal doors, and insulated coiling overhead doors. Interior construction will consist of new stud and gypsum board partition walls, suspended acoustic ceilings, raised access flooring, and full mechanical, plumbing, and electrical installations, along with all associated finishes.
The Nano Filtration Building will include concrete foundations and a floor slab, a pre-engineered metal building structure, and exterior insulated precast concrete wall panels. It will also include hollow metal doors and insulated coiling overhead doors. Interior work will consist of new stud and gypsum board walls, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems, and all required interior finishes.
